Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a time‑tested way to fill the gap when one or more teeth are missing in a row. If a space has been bothering you when you smile, talk, or chew, a bridge can bring back both appearance and function.

A traditional bridge uses the teeth on either side of the space as supports. After we carefully shape those anchor teeth, we take precise impressions and choose a shade that matches your natural enamel. Our laboratory then crafts a solid unit: two crowns that fit over the support teeth with replacement teeth joined in between. While your final bridge is being made, we place a smooth temporary piece so you can eat and speak comfortably. At the second visit, we try in the finished bridge, make adjustments so your bite feels right, and cement it in place once you are happy with the look and feel.

Bridges do more than close a gap. They help keep neighboring teeth from drifting, support your bite, and make everyday meals more enjoyable again. They are also a good option for patients who may not be ready for implants or who prefer a non‑surgical approach.

We will walk you through how to clean around and under your bridge using floss threaders or small brushes, since good home care is the key to keeping the supporting teeth healthy. Before any work begins, we review your options-bridge, implant, or leaving the space-and explain the pros, cons, timing, and costs. You have a clear picture of what to expect, and we move only when you are comfortable with the plan.
